Happy spring break, College Glossers! Here are a few stories you may have missed last week; now, go have some fun in the sun!

5. JT is the Man (as if we already didn’t know…)


Originally predicted to sell 750,000 copies in its first week, Justin Timberlake’s newly released “The 20/20 Experience” is now expected to sell nearly 900,000 copies. If you haven’t already downloaded it, do it now; you won’t be disappointed.

4. Freed After 23 Years



David Ranta, a man accused of killing a beloved New York rabbi in 1990, was exonerated this week after 23 years in prison. Ranta has maintained his innocence for two decades, but prosecutors only recently discovered that no actual physical evidence linked Ranta to the murder. He was released due to “insufficient evidence.”

3. F-E-E-E-ENNY!

 

Nineties kids, rejoice! William Daniels, who played revered Mr. Feeny in the sitcom “Boy Meets World,” confirmed this week that he has signed on to appear in the show’s spinoff, “Girl Meets World.” Filming for the pilot of “Girl Meets World” began in February.

2. Sandy Hook 5k Celebrates Life



A 5k held in order to remember the victims and support the families affected by the Sandy Hook tragedy raised over $400,000 this weekend. The 5k was held in Hartford, Conn., and involved more than 15,000 runners.

1. Brackets ready? It’s March Madness time!


Basketball fans across the country scrambled to perfect their brackets in time for the NCAA’s March Madness, which kicked off last week. Who’s going to win it? Although Mizzou is already out, watch the other teams compete for the coveted trophy!
