Let’s face it: being a college kid is hard. With classes, homework, extracurricular activities and much-needed napping, it’s easy to get trapped in the same routine and lose touch with reality. I think it’s safe to say that, for most of us, keeping up with current events means checking People.com every couple of days to get the latest scoop on "The Bachelor’s" Sean Lowe. But, seeing as we are working toward becoming functioning, adult members of society one day, it’s important that we know what’s going on in the world outside of the Zou. A huge snowstorm hit the northeast this week, causing millions to lose power in what is being called “Blizzard 2013.”
4. Hillary Clinton Resigned
As of this week, Hillary Clinton has officially left her post as Secretary of State. In a letter to Obama, Clinton stated: “I am more convinced than ever in the strength and staying power of America's global leadership and our capacity to be a force for good in the world.” John Kerry, 2004 presidential candidate, is her successor.
