Movie Review: "Now You See Me"

Looking for a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat this summer? “Now You See Me” is one that will keep you guessing until the end. Filled with magic and mystery, this film brings new meaning to magicians.

The story revolves around “The Four Horsemen,” as they call themselves, as the pull off the greatest magic tricks in history. Jesse Eisenburg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Dave Franco all start off as four street magicians who are brought together to perform tricks so they can get into the secret magicians club called The Eye. The story starts as the four are brought together and then jumps a year into the future when they are starting to perform together. These tricks include stealing 30 million euros from a French bank during a show in Las Vegas and even giving money to victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Staying a step ahead of an FBI detective, played by Mark Ruffalo, and an interpol agent, played by Melanie Laurent, the four have tricks up their sleeves that even the audience cannot see coming. This fast-paced movie keeps you on your toes and guessing until the the very end.

This movie is different from most movies out today, and it is very enjoyable. The whole time it has the audience rooting for the “bad guys.” The “four horsemen” work together to pull off some amazing magic tricks that leave you in awe. I would recommend seeing this movie. It was worth the trip to the movie theater. It is a great movie for a date night, or actually any night.
